സുബി സുരേഷിന്റെ (Subi Suresh) വിയോഗം വിശ്വസിക്കാനാകുന്നില്ലെന്ന് നടൻ ജയറാം. വളരെ ഞെട്ടിക്കുന്ന വാർത്തയാണിത്. സുഖമില്ലാതെ കിടക്കുന്നുവെന്നുപോലും അറിഞ്ഞിരുന്നില്ല. സിനിമയിലും സ്റ്റേജിലും ടിവി പോഗ്രാമുകളിലും മാക്സിമം പെർഫോമൻസ് കാഴ്ചവെക്കുന്ന ആളാണ്. ഒരു ഓൾറൗണ്ടറെന്ന് പറയാം. ഇത്ര ചെറുപ്രായത്തിൽ സംഭവിച്ച ഈ വിയോഗം വിശ്വസിക്കാനാകുന്നില്ല. കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ ദുഃഖത്തിൽ പങ്കുചേരുന്നതായും ജയറാം പറഞ്ഞു.
കൽപ്പന ചേച്ചിക്ക് ശേഷം എന്നെ അദ്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തിയ നടിയാണ് സുബി (Subi). ഒപ്പം അഭിനയിച്ച സിനിമകൾ കുറവണെങ്കിലും നിരവധി സ്റ്റേജ് പരിപാടികളിൽ ഒന്നിച്ച് പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഏതു കഥാപാത്രത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ചുരുങ്ങിയ സമയത്തിനുള്ളിൽ പറഞ്ഞുകൊടുത്താലും അനായാസേന വേദിയിൽ അവതരിപ്പിക്കും. സ്റ്റേജിലെ പ്രകടനത്തിൽ സുബിക്ക് അപ്പുറത്തേക്ക് ഒരാളില്ല- ജയറാം പറഞ്ഞു.
കരള്‍ സംബന്ധമായ രോഗത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ആലുവയിലെ സ്വകാര്യ ആശുപത്രിയില്‍ ചികിത്സയിലായിരുന്നു .ബുധനാഴ്ച രാവിലെ 10 മണിയോടെ ആയിരുന്നു മരണം സംഭവിച്ചത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറച്ചു കാലങ്ങളായി സുബിയെ ആരോഗ്യപ്രശ്‌നങ്ങള്‍ അലട്ടിയിരുന്നു. രാജസേനന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത കനക സിംഹാസനം എന്ന സിനിമയിലൂടെ 2006ലാണ് സുബി സുരേഷ് ചലച്ചിത്രലോകത്തേയ്ക്ക് കടക്കുന്നത്. പഞ്ചവര്‍ണതത്ത, ഡ്രാമ, 101 വെഡ്ഡിങ്, ഗൃഹനാഥന്‍, കില്ലാഡി രാമന്‍, ലക്കി ജോക്കേഴ്‌സ്, എല്‍സമ്മ എന്ന ആണ്‍കുട്ടി, തസ്‌കര ലഹള, ഹാപ്പി ഹസ്ബന്‍ഡ്‌സ്, ഡിറ്റക്ടീവ്, ഡോള്‍സ് തുടങ്ങി ഇരുപതോളം സിനിമകളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു.
